Ella’s 7th birthday

I am so behind on here but I don’t want it all to get away from me because I cherish the documentation of these memories more than many things I’ve done.

A couple of weeks ago Ella somehow turned 7! Her party was the weekend prior to her birthday at Flipside Ninja. This is where Reese had her party also and we loved it so much we booked another. It was again a great time.

Pop, Gigi and Will came in to help celebrate. Her party was in a Sunday afternoon and the excitement was high waiting for the 3 pm party time. I think every little girl that was invited came to her party and everyone seemed to have a really fun time. They do a timed obstacle course near the end of the party. They didn’t count the times of the few kids there that were significantly older than Ella and her friends and with their times not counted Ella won the competition. She had a blast and felt the love of all of her friends.

On Ella’s actual birthday we surprised her with donuts that spelled her name. We also let her open her gifts and revealed he soccer goals set up in the backyard. She was thrilled! Neal, William and I ate with her at school and we went to Shoguns for dinner. It was a fun day celebrating one of our greatest blessings. I’m so glad she joined our family 7 years ago!!

Random updates on a Monday

1. Ellie Loo lost her 1st tooth on 2/20/18!! She has been working on this tooth for months. Her teacher texted me the below photo and said that she’s gotten a starburst for getting a perfect score on her spelling checkup. While chewing her starburst she felt something hard and realized she was chewing on her tooth. She was so excited!!

We got the 1st smiles about a week and a half ago. He is so precious!


William does not appreciate it if you put him down to nap. He wakes up fussing within 5 minutes. My mom recently suggested I get one of the things that allows me to wear him so I can still get some things done. It’s been a game changer. We both love it!

This ball has been with us through all 3 infant stages. It soothes McAllister babies well. 

Look at the size of the booger I fished out of his nose. He seems concerned.

 

Valentine’s Day has come and gone. Neal spoiled as as usual with Valanica. Ella’s class made their boxesbin class but look at how cute this sheep loving girls box is! She did most of it by herself with a little help from me. We love it! 💜

Ella just finished her 1st season of basketball. She loved it and had some fun friends she played with. She’s on to soccer now and, while soccer isn’t always my favorite, I’m having so much fun watching her and she’s pretty amazing at it. 💛
